Sorry...I know it's been a while

I tell mommy every day to write in my blog, but she has been so busy that she just has not had the time.

Boy, this past month has been very busy. Since I can't remember everything we did, I will just give you one big update on some of the bigger things.

Let's start with this one...I CRAWLED TONIGHT!!! Now that I got your attention. Not bad, huh? Let me give you the scoop on how it happened. I was up in my room with daddy. He was getting me ready for bed. We were sitting on the floor. I saw that red wagon sitting in the corner of the room (thank you to whoever gave that to me at mommy's shower) and I just HAD to have it. So...I crawled over to get it. And the rest is history. Actually, we think it happened because mommy was teaching me earlier in the evening how to do it. I finally caught on! YEAH!!!

The other day, I stood up for the first time too! I was sitting in the family room with mommy and i had my hands on her thigh, and my feet on the floor. I lifted my butt up in the air and then all of a sudden...I popped up in the air and stood up by myself. I was like that for about 30 seconds, and then realized I was standing alone and sat down. It was fun. I know there is more of that to come.

I am eating all kinds of mommy and daddy food now. Some of favorites are squash, spinach lasagna, carrots, peas, potatoes and corn, and all kinds of fruits. Of course, my all time favorite is cherrios (i can even pick them up off the high chair tray by myself). I could eat them all the time if mommy and daddy would let me.

I have two teeth, but a few more are coming in. One of the top front teeth has already broken through, and a few more are just about out. Mommy can see them right under my gums.

A few weeks ago we went on vacation for a week with mommy and daddy's friends Ronnie and Harry from CA. We went to VT and stayed at the ski lodge. It rained most of the time we were there, but we did not mind. We had a great time anyway. We even went hiking in the rain. Daddy had me on his back with my carrier, and I got to wear a cool rain shield.

Oh, and another cool thing we did was go to the beach and have our pictures taken. Daddy could not wait for it to be over, but mommy and I had a great time.

Well, Halloween is right around the corner, so hope everyone has a great time. I will have mommy put a picture up of me afterwards. Guess what I am? I won't tell.

OK, well that is about it for now.

Love to everyone,

Ryan
