My friend Uncle Anthony - I really enjoy spending time with him.  Posted by Picasa

I am just preparing for when I turn 16 - can't learn to soon! Posted by Picasa

Mommy, Daddy and I love hiking together as a family.  Posted by Picasa

This is fun! Posted by Picasa

Sleeping during hiking is fun! Some day I may have neck problems because of this! Posted by Picasa

Talk about being able to sleep anywhere. Daddy swore to Mommy that I was ok like this even though Mommy really wanted to move me. Posted by Picasa

Finally...an update

I know, I know. Mommy has been so bad about posting new pics and info of me on the site. She promises to try and be better going forward, so check back to the site time to time.

What's new with Me?

Let's see. I have 8 teeth, plus 6 more coming in at the same time. I love chewing on hard toys to make it feel better.

I started singulair for my asthma, and it seems to be working. Aside from the typical green runny nose, I have not had any more major breathing issues and have been staying out of the ER and the Dr's offices. I also had all sorts of allergy testing done, and I have no allergies! My auto immune tests also came back positive, which means that I will grow out of all of these issues I have been having. That was great news!

I moved into the toddler room at school. I am such a big boy! I love being with the big kids. I sleep on a cot for nap time, I am learning to paint and play with the big kid toy, and I love playing outside on the playground. I even get to bring a lunchbox to school! Mommy and Daddy are having so much fun seeing me learn more and more each day. I even put my hands together when Mommy and I sing the itsy, bitsy spider. I love that!

I am still not really talking a whole lot. I say Dada all the time, which Mommy does not think is very fair! I only say Mama when I want something or when I am not feeling well. I say yes sometimes, and I have said bye-bye once or twice. Every once in a while I even say something that sounds exactly like an answer to a question, but mom and dad are just not sure.

I also wave hi and bye, blows kisses, and gives nice big open mouth kisses (mommy and daddy are still trying to figure out where the heck I learned that from). The other day I went to give daddy a kiss with my mouth open and tongue sticking out. Mommy laughed hysterically.

I am eating everything in site now, which makes meal time so much easier! I love taking baths and have discovered that bubble bath does not taste really good. I shocked Nana this weekend, when I decided that I was done and tried to step out of the tub myself.

I only take one nap a day now for a few hours, and still sleep about 12 hours a night! (mommy and daddy are very grateful for that!)

Mommy and Daddy have been hiking a lot trying to get ready for a memorial day backpacking trip (Nana and Grandpa are babysitting me). Since they need to work up to this trip, we have been hiking every weekend recently. I love being in the backpack! The first time we went this season, I stayed awake the entire 6.5 hours. Now, I can actually fall asleep, which looks really funny because I slump over the side of the carrier. (mommy has some pictures that she will upload later in the week).

Well, I think that catches everyone up. Hope you are all well, and that I get to see you all really soon.

Love,

Ryan
