Oops...forgot to mention

I meant to tell you in the post right below what has been going on with my developmentally. So, he is a quick update.

I am days away from crawling. I am up on all 4's, and I can move one knee. Just can't really follow it with the other one. I really think I am going to be able to get this crawling thing very, very soon. Mommy and daddy had to go Thursday evening and buy gates to baby proof the house.

I am teething like crazy. I have two teeth on the bottom in the front. So, I love to get both fists all the way in my mouth to help feel better. Mommy tried Orajel, but that does not seem to be working for me. I also hate teething rings. The teething biscuts seem to help a bit, but Mommy and daddy are open to suggestions from anyone.

I can sit up all by my self now. It is good to have someone (or a boppy pillow) behind me incase I fall back though.

My acid reflux is GONE!! Woohoo!!!!!! Finally, I don't need to get oatmeal in every bottle, and I don't have to sit in my high chair for 45 minutes after eating so I don't throw everything up.

I LOVE Sesame Street. I lay in bed in the morning and watch it with mommy (and sometimes daddy). I also love the Baby Einstein video that mommy borrowed from School. We don't want to return it. :o) I am really getting into the baby leapfrog toys. Mommy and Daddy bought me a drum, and I am having so much fun pounding on it. All my cousins bought me a leap frog numbers train, and I already love that!

Boy, I am really growing fast! Can you believe it?

Love to everyone,

Ryan

My first time in Boston

Hi Everyone,

I just had a great weekend! Saturday morning, we drove up to Boston to stay with my mommy's cousins Scott and Elissa. Her cousin's Amy and Dan were there visiting from North Carolina so they planned this last minute weekend so they could all spend some time together. We left early on Saturday morning, and got there about 12:30pm. Elissa and Scott were great hosts. They had lunch just about ready when we got there. Steaks, Chicken, shrimp and veggies on the barbie. They even prepared special no sauce food for Daddy since he thinks he has celiac and is eating gluten free (bit over 2 weeks now, and feeling better). They were great hosts! Of course, again...I got sweet potatoes, pears and formula for lunch...boring! Then after playing with my cousins Aleya and Andrew, I took a very much needed nap. When I woke up, we got to go into Boston and take the duck tour. That is an Amphibious car, that can drive on dry land AND in the water. It was so cool! I even got to drive the boat (on mommy's lap). We had a great time. Mommy and Daddy have some pictures, but they are on a regular camera and mommy will post them when they are developed. After that, we went home since us kids were all so tired. The adults ordered in almost $100 bucks worth of Chinese food (for 6 people, that is a lot!) and had a big feast. Again...none for me.

Sunday, we all woke up and hung out together for a little while before Amy and Dan and the kids had to head up to Maine for the night, and mommy and daddy had to get home. Daddy had his fantasy football draft that he waits all year long for. We got home around 6:30pm, and after playing with mommy and daddy for a bit, I was off to dreamland. It was another exhausting weekend, but I had a great time with my cousins in Boston. Thanks for inviting us!!! You were great hosts. See you soon.

Love,

Ryan

P.S. Something is wrong with mommy's camera, so all the rest of the pictures of my cousins did not come out well enough to post. There should be a few once the regular camera is developed. In the meantime, there are a few pictures posted below. Enjoy.

Another great weekend and a visit from the cousins

Thursday night, Nana gave Mommy and Daddy tickets last minute to go see the Mets play. They got to sit in the Diamond Suite box. They had a great time, even if the Met's lost. I wish I could have gone with them, but instead I got to spend the evening with Nana and Grandpa.

Friday night, Mommy and Daddy and I went out to dinner with our neighbors. They have 2 kids. Louis, who is 4 months older then me, and Nick, who is 6. We had fun! Then we went down to spend the night with Nana and Grandpa. My second cousins Scott and Elissa were there visiting for the night, and I loved spending time with them. It was too short, so I look forward to seeing them again.

Today (Saturday), my Aunt Marina, Uncle Scott, and cousins Hannah, Rachel, Griffin, and Wesley from Virginia stopped by to visit on their way back home from vacation in Cape Cod. I had a great time playing with them, and I wish they could have stayed longer. They were here for dinner, and then they went down to see my nanny in New Jersey. I tried to stay awake as long as I could to play with them, but I was just so tired, I had to finally go to bed. I think I remember them coming into my room to kiss me again and again during the evening. I will have very sweet dreams tonight. I can't wait to see them again soon.

Tomorrow I get to spend the day with Nana again, since Mommy is taking Daddy out for their anniversary. He has no idea what they are doing.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Love,

Ryan (see my pictures below)

Another trip for Ryan

Last week I got to fly in an airplane again! Mommy and Daddy took me down to Florida to visit my Great Grandma (GG) and my Aunt Carol and Uncle Dick. Or maybe they are my Great Aunt Carol and Uncle Dick since they are my mommy's Aunt and Uncle. Anyway...it was a great trip.

We spent two nights with GG, and then two nights with A. Carol and U. Dick. It was very hot, so we spent a lot of time inside. I did get to go in the kiddie pool (with a leak in it), and had a great time swimming. I was not allowed in the big kid pool. Mommy posted some pictures below, but they all came out blurry. Sorry. Mommy was very excited, because she got to drive A. Carol's mini cooper - what a great car!

Mommy and Daddy loved staying up late at night playing cards with everyone. I got to stay up late a lot too. One night, we went to a restaurant called "Banana Boat". It was fun! There was a live band, so instead of sleeping, I kicked my feet to the music and sang as loud as I could. I was very tired after that and slept really late the next morning.

I had such a good time, I did not want to leave. The plane ride home was good, except mommy and daddy tried to feed me when we were landing to protect my ears. Since I was not hungry, I threw it all up. Sorry.

It was a great trip and I can't wait to see everyone again soon.

Love,

Ryan

Ryan Update

Hi Everyone,

I have been very busy! Last Thursday, my first tooth broke through. It's really funny when mommy and daddy put their hands in my mouth and I bite down with my new tooth. Soon, I will have enough teeth to eat cherrios.

Did I mention that I am a published writer? The article I wrote about July 4th in VT was published in our ski club monthly guide. I am currently the youngest ski club member - I can't wait to get out on the snow this winter.

This past weekend, I went with mommy and daddy to the 3rd annual stitch and bitch on Robert Moses Beach in Long Island. It was my first time at the ocean, and I really enjoyed it. Daddy brought me into the water. I was holding on tight cause I was scared, but it was fun! Mommy took good care to keep me out of the sun - I even had a little sun tent. Lots of mommy and daddy's friends were there, so I had a great time playing with all of them.

Mommy will post some pictures when she gets them. She actually used a regular camera at the beach insead of the digital one.

Hope everyone is well.

Love,

Ryan
