My weekend

Hi Everyone,

We had a great holiday weekend. But before I tell you about that, I have to tell you some news about me. On Monday morning, mommy put me on the floor in the family room (on my belly)and walked into the kitchen for a minute. When she turned around, I was sitting up. Hehe--she was so surprised. Before she knows it, I am going to be crawling around the house.

Friday night, mommy and daddy's friends Matt and Melissa came over for dinner. As usual, I was a very good boy.

Saturday, I got to spend the day hanging out with mommy and daddy at home doing nothing. They never get to do that anymore, so it was tons of fun! Daddy even finished my bookcase that he has been working on since last November - it looks awesome!

Sunday, daddy's friend Craig (that he has known since middle school), came up with his wife MaryBeth and their son Michael. Michael is only a few months younger then me. It was great to make another friend. We had a good time playing and laughing together. In the afternoon, we went up to Sleeping Giant and went hiking for a few hours. Mommy gave daddy a backpack carrier for father's day, and this was his first chance to use it (since he had sprained his ankle). I loved going up and down the mountain, I was laughing most of the time - I really enjoyed it.

Monday after breakfast, we had to say goodbye to our friends. Mommy and I played the rest of the day, while daddy finished up chores around the house.

Where's the Beef?

Guess what everyone,

I had chicken for dinner tonight for the first time. Yummy! Mommy mixed it up with some Sweet Potatoes, and I loved it. I could not get enough.

Woohoo, watch out...I am growing up fast!
